Ducati Scrambler Sixty2 riding impression

On Thursday 26th May 2016, I rented a Ducati Scrambler Sixty2 (400cc) on Rental819 website. There was a special 10% discount ("Ride the red" promotion), only on May, for renting Ducati motorcycles. For this reason, I decided to rent this model (8 hours). The total price, including insurance, was about 14000 Yen (100 Euro).

I got the motorcycle at 11:00 and gave it back at around 18:30. I rented it at Takatsu shop, which is close to Futakotamagawa station, between Tokyo and Yokohama. After renting the motorcycle, I took the highway and went to Hakone, which is a nice place close to Mount Fuji, on south-west side of Tokyo.

In the highway, I stopped at a service area to take some pictures. This is how the motorcycle looks like.

I also wanted to go to the onsen (Japanese thermae) but unfortunately the one that I liked was closed on Thursday.

IMG_0488I really recommend this Ducati Scrambler Sixty2 400cc. Its 41 horse power on a low weight (around 170kg) are more than enough to have fun. The engine response is very good even at low engine speed (3000rpm or so), and the desmodromic engine sound is fantastic, in my opinion. For sure, I will rent this motorcycle (or any other Ducati) again.
